ONO Perl Framework

ONO Perl Framework Logo

ONO is a Perl Framework that can help you to easily create and maintain Perl projects, from simple shell scripts to highly complex websites and community platforms.

ONO offers "building blocks" that can easily be combined, those blocks are organized in modules and sub-modules.

Popular features include:

  • ONO Admin, a ready-to-use administration web application.
  • HTML rendering.
  • File I/O and database I/O.
  • ONO Lib, a large number of file and data manipulation modules.
  • ONO Toolbox, ready-to-use modules from blogs to image galleries.
  • ONO Frameworks, ready-to-use super-modules from wikis to social networks.
  • ONO OSR, system resources including images, CSS and JS files, and more.

Protect status: ONO is currently not yet ready for download :(

The history of ONO goes back to 2001, the current source code has been developed over the past 17 years.

The free software / open source version has been announced in February 2024, and we're now preparing first parts of the code to be released.

Before release, we will review all code, and we'll also try to document as much as possible. We expect to be able to relase new parts of the documentation (and of the code later on) on a monthly basis.
